Speedscapes

Inspired by gazing out from a train window, I create these 'Speedscapes' to convey a sense of landscape speeding by in a blur.
Within the context of contemporary society, these works allude to the rush and near inability for us to be still. We may briefly experience and appreciate natural landscapes from time to time, but the exponential business of our society limits our ability to deeply enjoy the natural world around us.
